The Swamp Road Chronicles®
"Tattoo"
Dear Editor-in-Chief,
First I want you to know that I am a
girl; more precisely, a woman. Because I lift weights and am quite buff some
people think I'm a young man, but I'm not. However, I have had a crush, no, an
obsession with Swamp Road Sally since I first saw her two years ago.
Like so many teens, I had wanted a
thrill, so, I went alone on Swamp Road at exactly 3 am. I have always heard
that 3 am was the time when the forces of darkness are at their most potent
level. I wanted to see her. I got my wish.
I parked in a wide place out in the
middle of where Pigeon Swamp had been deepest and I just sat there, quietly,
with the windows down, listening carefully for any sound. After about 30
minutes I started to get drowsy and my attention waned. I glanced up at the
road in front of my car and there she stood. Just like everyone tells you, she
is dressed in some sort of white nightgown and she appears to be wet. However,
I have often been told that she is seen crying; not this time!
I have NEVER seen a woman with such a
powerful, piercing gaze. She had the bearing of a queen, or an empress. Such a
look of confidence and wisdom, I knew I was in the presence of a being far superior
to me. I felt honored to be in her presence and so very humbled.
She looked at me for a few seconds and
then vanished. Since that night my life has not been the same, and never will
be. I know that she has chosen me to give her the adoration such a magnificent
woman deserves, I know that she will meet with me again and give me
instructions as to how I can be of service to her. I'll do anything she asks of
me, anything. I will live my life as her slave until my dying day if she will
allow me. I adore her, I await her, I love her.
I have had a tattoo inked on my right
bicep (of which I am quite proud) to prove my loyalty to her. I belong to her
and will never belong to another.
I have attached a photo of my tattoo.
Thanks for taking the time to read my story.
Yours,
